Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

› Tina Yates, 61, of Valley has been charged with six counts of negotiating worthless negotiable  instruments (bad checks);

› Anthony Williams, 31, of West Point, Ga. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of attempting to elude law enforcement, no driver’s license, reckless endangerment and possession of marijuana, second degree;

› Valerie Baker, 35, of Columbus, Ga. has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and

› Ray Ogle III, 51, of Columbus, Ga. has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

There were 155 inmates in the Chambers County jail Thursday morning.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

› Buster Breed, 43, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with attempting to elude law enforcement, using false identify to obstruct justice, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property, fourth degree, and

› Anthony Williams, 31, of West Point has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents that were reported on Wednesday, Lanett police are investigating reports of burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, on the 1200 block of South 4th Avenue, harassing communications on the 700 block of South 13th Street, harassment on the 1900 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway and incidents of domestic violence, third degree, on the 1700 block of Magnolia Road and on the 1800 block of 35th Avenue SW and criminal trespassing, third degree, on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue and on the 200 block of South 3rd Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

› Travis Holloway, 35, of Valley has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.
