HEY! HOPE you have the school spirit! With school beginning this month, we hope you have gotten prepared for another successful school year.

Lately, there have been a number of videos of different ethnic groups participating in the Ke Ke Challenge. Let’s try a Back to School challenge. Let’s challenge each other to do something different than last school year that will put a smile on another’s face and brighten their year.

M.E.N. (Mentoring, Empowering & Nurturing) Organization, a mentoring program, is requesting the presence of other MEN to assist them in greeting students in elementary and middle schools throughout Chambers County for the new school year. Please contact Pastor Karanja Story for details on how to make at least one student have a better school year. They began Thursday, Aug 9 at 7 am.

THE BACK to School Bash was well enjoyed at St. Stephens CME Church, Saturday, Aug. 4.

LOVING, LEARNING, leading is the language of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church celebrated Homecoming of 2018, Aug. 5 at 2:30 p.m. ET.

They celebrated with a timely theme: “Coming Home with a Testimony”. Guest Pastor and Church: Rev. Larry Threatts and St. Stephens CME Church, Valley, Alabama. They appreciated all who cam and enjoyed the day with them. It was great!
