WADLEY, Ala. — Ms. LeSherryl M. Laney Atkinson, 37, of Wadley, Ala. passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at WellStar West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange, Ga.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2018, 2 p.m. CDT at County Line Baptist Church in Wadley, Ala. with  the Rev. Rickey Cofield, pastor, and the Rev. Tommy Carwell, eulogist, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Atkinson is survived by her daughter, Malika Atkinson and her mother, Ms. Linda Laney, both of Wadley; four brothers: Kevin Laney of LaGrange, Ga., Cedric McLain of Bessemer, Ala., Larry (Temica) Hardnett of Roanoke, Ala. and Akeem Laney of Wadley; five sisters: Erica Moss of Lanett, Ala., Lawanda Hardnett Rados of Indianapolis, Ind., Valeria (Dante’) Leverette of Valley, Ala., Marchelle Pitts of Auburn, Ala. and Kimberly (Ben) Laney of Wadley, a special friend, Charles Edmondson of LaGrange, Ga. and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
