Lanett reports

LANETT — Seven people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Lacourtney Zembroski Barnes, 25, of Lanett has charged with failure to appear in court on traffic-related charges;

Danny Scott Hinkle, 32, of Lanett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia;

Dennis Lyons, 53, of Lanett has been charged with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia;

Sylvester Brown, 71, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, first degree;

Christopher Franklin Varner, 51, of Lanett has been charged with using a false identity to obstruct justice and bail jumping, second degree;

Frerdarious Anquez Williams, 19, of Homewood, Ala. has been charged with possession of marijuana, sec0nd degree, and

Anita Mercedes Ordaz, 20, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with  possession of marijuana, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1100 block of South 3rd Street, robbery, third degree, was reported on the 1200 block of 21st Street SW, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported in the 1800 block of 18th Avenue SW, harassment was reported on the 2400 block of 24th Street SW, harassment was reported on the 300 block of South 3rd Avenue, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of Cherry Drive, the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on the 4200 block of South Phillips Road, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 500 block of South 6th Street, the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported in the 1500 block of South 3rd Street, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 1100 block of North 10th Street and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 5700 block of 13th Street SW.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Four people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Arsenio Lawarren Floyd, 29, of Valley has been charged with two counts of bail jumping, second degree;

Thomas Allen Irvin, 24, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay a traffic fine;

Sanbracia Meryona Johnson, 20, of Lanett has been charged with disorderly conduct, and

Mitchell Leon Lewis, 37, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, the unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 6500 block of 22nd Avenue,

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Syble Michae McDonald, 29, of Valley has been charged with FTA – speeding, and

Erica Lauren Sweet, 25, of Dadeville, Ala. has been charged with four counts of bribing a witness.

There were 156 inmates in the Chambers County jail Monday morning.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — West Point Police Department officers are investigating reports of shoplifting on East 10th Street, harassment on Wisteria Drive and burglary on Northview Drive.
