LaFAYETTE — Six people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Charles Coker, 43, of Valley has been charged with escape, third degree, failure to appear in court to answer a charge of possession of a controlled substance and FTA – possession of drug paraphernalia;

Valintez Edmonson, 27, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – robbery, third degree and FTA – theft of property, second degree;

Lakiska Roberts, 39, in Lanett has been charged with criminal littering;

Justin Hill, 36, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – possession of a controlled substance and FTA – possession of drug paraphernalia;

Tina Addison, 47, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay child support, and

Brenda Finley, 51, of Lanett has been charged with a probation violation – dog/cat cruelty, first degree.

There were 157 inmates in the Chambers County jail Friday morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Four people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

John Nathan Hornsby, 40, of Valley has been charged with assault, third degree;

Shawanda Whitlow, 39, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Tyrus Scott, 49, of Lanett has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree. and

Nicole Denise Heard, 30, of LaFayette has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 1800 block of 48th Street, separate incidents of the unlawful breaking and
entering a motor vehicle were reported on the 1800 block of of 53rd Street, the 4100 block of 19th Avenue and the 1900 block of 43rd Street, property damage was reported on the 200 block of Martin Luther King Drive, domestic violence – criminal mischief, was reported on the 400 block of Fairwood Drive, the unlawful use of a debit/credit card was reported on the 3000 block of 22nd Avenue, reckless endangerment was reported on the 6000 block of 20th  Avenue and identity theft reported on the 2000 block of Calgary Crescent.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Brandi Leanna Serrano, 26, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree;

Edward Facille, 28, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with being a fugitive from justice, and

Phillip Thomas Benfro, 35, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, harassment was reported on the 3000 block of South Phillips Road, identify theft was reported on the 1000 block of County Road 455, theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 1800 block of South Broad Avenue, and the fraudulent use of a debit/credit card reported on the 800 block of North 11th Avenue.
