Lanett reports

LANETT — Five people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Gary Phillip Hupp, 46, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and criminal trespassing, third degree;

Charles Wesley Gore, 42, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Tommy Lee McCullough, 46, of Valley has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer and driving under the influence – alcohol;

Anthony Brian Harris, 64, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Jimmy Lewis Carlisle, 38, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents that were reported on Tuesday, Lanett police are investigating criminal trespassing, third degree, on the 500 block of South 6th Street, domestic violence, third degree, and assault on the 600 block of North 14th Court, theft of property, fourth degree, on the 300 block of South 3rd Avenue, criminal trespassing, third degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, on the 200 block of South 19th Street, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, on the 2500 block of 11th Court SW, possession of a forged instrument, third degree, on the 1800 block of South Broad Avenue, and harassment on the 1900  block of 53rd Avenue SW.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Four people were arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Jessica Plunkett, 27, of Valley has been charged with receiving stolen property, fourth degree;

Katie Weaver, 27, of Valley has been charged with criminal mischief, third degree, and criminal trespassing, first degree;

Christopher Monseglio, 45, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespassing, first degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, and

Charles Wesley Gore, 39, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Nine people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Jimmy Carlisle, 38, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to make child support payments,

Jesse O’Neal Alexander, 27, of Five Points, Ala. has been charged with domestic violence – strangulation;

Walter Merrell Ballard, 39, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with a probation violation;

Denzel Swanson, 21, of Five Points has been charged with the unlawful distribution/furnishing of a controlled substance;

Daniel Alan Noon, 29, of LaFayette has been charged with a probation violation – burglary, third degree;

Ashley Ann Abney, 27, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia;

Dequincy Sharolquial Williams has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Kizzie Eunice Magby, 32, of Valley has been charged with two counts FTA – possession of a forged instrument, third degree, three counts theft of property, third degree, FTA – chemical endangerment of a child, FTA – conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. FTA – possession of a forged instrument, second degree and assault, second degree;

Terrance Bernard Avery, 45, of Valley has been charged with a grand jury indictment for the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

There were 170 inmates in the Chambers County jail Wednesday morning.

West Point reports

WEST POINT  — Two people were arrested in West Point on Tuesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Lindsey Ann Tweet of Marietta, Ga. was charged on a warrant from Cherokee County, Ga. for felony probation violation, and

Andrew Robert Massey of Plainville, Ga. was charged on a Troup County warrant for FTA.

LaFayette reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in LaFayette on Tuesday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

Denzel Swanson, 21, of Five Points has been  charged with FTA;

Gregory Heard, 34, has been charged with two counts of failure to appear and failure to pay, and

Dequincy Williams, 27, has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, discharging a firearm into an unoccupied building and attempting to elude a police officer.
