GRANTVILLE, Ga. — Mr. Hilluard Ware, Sr., 76, of Grantville, Ga. formerly of Five Points, Ala., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, Ga.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, 12 noon CDT at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in LaFayette, Ala., with Pastor Gary L. Dixon, eulogist, and Bishop Bertha Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery in LaFayette.

Mr. Ware is survived by four daughters, Jacquelyn Dodson of Opelika, Ala., Remonia (Tony) Hines of Grantville, Ga., Lisa (Frank) Briskey and Kawana (Terry) Tucker, both of Five Points, three sons, Hilluard (Sherry) Ware, Jr. of LaFayette, Larron (Angie) Ware of London, England and James Dodson, Jr. of Opelika, a special great-granddaughter, A’neilya McFarlin of Five Points, Ala., special sisters Vonella (Auto) Jackson of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Virginia (Bobby) Henderson of Roanoke, Ala., eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, Mama V. and Wanda Carter, his adopted family, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
