Ms. Earline Fuller Adams Smith

FREDONIA, Ala. — Earline Fuller Adams Smith, 87, of Fredonia, Ala. went home to be with our Lord and savior on Friday October 19, 2018. God has called another beautiful angel home to walk the streets of gold. Ms. Smith was born in Coffee County, Ala. on December 26, 1930 to the late Benjamin Porter Fuller and Frances (Fannie) Jones Fuller.

Ms. Smith is survived by five children, Curtis Houston (Rabbit) Adams Jr. of LaFayette, Ala., Rodger Adams and Wayne (Becky) Adams of Fredonia, Carolyn (Martin) Taylor of LaGrange, Ga., and Terry A. Billingsley of Fredonia. She has 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Ms. Smith is also survived by three brothers, Leo Fuller, Sandford Fuller both of Valley, AL, and Warren Fuller of Opelika AL, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a very special friend, George Braswell of Lanett.

Ms. Smith was proceeded in death by her husbands, Curtis H. Adams Sr. and Ralph E. Smith, her daughter, Donna A. Danford, and her grandchild, Chris Adams. Passed on before her were eight siblings. Ms. Smith was an active member of her community and New Hope Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for over fifty years. She also served on the board of trustees and other committees. She was an active member of the Fredonia Community Club house. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends. She also loved working in her yard and flower gardens.

Ms. Smith was retired from WestPoint Stevens. She has gone home to be with her loved ones, our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 28, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church in Fredonia. Officiating services will be Brother Ed Halsey. Lunch will be served for the family in the fellowship hall at 12:30 p.m. EDT. with visitation beginning at 1 until 3 p.m. EDT at New Hope Baptist Church. Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m. EDT. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations to be made to her church, New Hope Baptist Church of Fredonia or to St Jude Hospital.
