LANETT reports

LANETT — Nine people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Daniel Aldorado Williams, 46, of Lanett has been charged with driving under the influence – alcohol;

Brionna La’Shae Strickland, 24, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with harassment;

Dana Erica Richardson, 31, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with DUI – alcohol;

Reginald Cornell Shaver, 39, of Valley has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Linzie Brooks, 62, of Quincy, Fla. has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree;

Jakeem Devonte Gilliam, 24, of Valley has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, second degree, and possession of a concealed weapon without a permit;

Kenderian Vernez Finley, 29, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Scotty Reed, 42, of Lanett has been charged with loitering and possession of drug paraphernalia, and

Demaurius Lashaunce Patrick, 28, of Lanett has been charged with duty upon striking an unoccupied vehicle.

In incidents that were reported over the weekend, Lanett officers are investigating reports of domestic violence on South 14th Street, 18th Street SW, North 8th Avenue, and 26th Avenue SW, theft of property on 8th Avenue SW, 44th Avenue SW, 10th Street SW, South Broad Avenue, South 8th Street, South Gilmer Avenue and South Jennings Avenue, the unauthorized use of a vehicle on 18th Court SW, harassment on 19th Street SW and duty upon striking an unoccupied vehicle on South 6th Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Six people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Demaurius L. Patrick, 32, of Valley has been charged with failure with duty to give information and render aid;

Tillitha Ann Mills, 35, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

William Christopher Colley, 40, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Jordan Lance Sturkie, 27, of Valley has been charged with being a fugitive from justice;

Jeremy Glenn Fetner, 40, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Reginald Shaver, 39, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic-related charges.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, criminal mischief, first degree was reported on Church Street, the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on the 400 block of Fairwood Drive, theft of lost property, fourth degree, was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, were reported on the 100 block of Sportsplex Drive, the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, were reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue, and identity theft was reported on the 3200 block of 19th Avenue.

Sheriff’s Office reports

LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Billy Spears Jr., 34, of Lanett has been charged with FTA — distribution of a controlled substance;

Kenderian Finley, 29, of LaFayette has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and having a pistol without a permit;

Merissa Ransom, 39, of Valley has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and

Brandon Haynes, 20, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with driving under the influence – alcohol.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — Four people were arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports.

Consaylo Latarsa Glaze of Lanett has been charged with giving a false name to a law enforcement officer;

Anthony Craig Simmons of Salem, Ala. has been charged on a Troup County warrant for a probation violation;

Shaquenia Roshae Cameron of LaGrange has been charged with theft by taking, and

Juarez Guzman Ramiro Fernando of Opelika has been charged with driving without a license.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, theft by taking was reported on Highway 18 and criminal trespassing was reported on Avenue K.
