Valley reports

VALLEY — Five people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday.

Andrew Massey, 33, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic-related charges;

Brian O’Neal Vealsy, 31, of Valley has been charged with using a false identify to obstruct justice and bail jumping, second degree;

James Buford McKeehan, 34, of Valley has been charged with possessing and using drug paraphernalia;

Charnese Hightower, 23, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Haley Murphy, 19, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespassing.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday.

Jimmy Rockquel Williams, 46, of LaFayette has been charged with domestic violence, third degree, and criminal mischief, third degree;

Tony Bernard Hargett, 44, of West Point, Ga. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Tyrone Daniel Williams, 34, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;

Demarco Laquan Huguley, 34, of LaFayette, Ala. has been charged with two counts of bail jumping, second degree.

Sheriff’s  reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday.

Tony Bernard Hargett, 44, of West Point has been charged with two counts FTA – possession of a controlled substance and FTA – possession of marijuana, second degree, and

Jamichael Lacorey Stone, 28, of Camp Hill, Ala. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and attempting to elude.

There were 160 inmates in the Chambers County jail Thursday morning.

Lafayette reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in LaFayette on Wednesday. According to a LaFayette Police Department report,

Stanley Ridgeway, 47, has been charged with failure to appear or pay;

Amanda Whitlow, 32, has been charged with failure to pay;

Eric Calloway, 35, has been charged with attempting to elude, driving under the influence, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In an incident being investigated by LaFayette officers, menacing and harassment was reported on 1st Street NE.
