Lanett reports

LANETT — Six people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Danika Santese Hutchinson, 22, of Valley has been charged with receiving stolen property, first degree, and failure to appear in court to answer a traffic-related offense;

Brandon Donta Carwell, 27, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with two counts of bail jumping, second degree;

Edward Wright, 62, of Lanett has been charged with public intoxication;

Jarez Carlisle, 20, of Lanett has been charged with FTA;

William Seagle, 41, of Lanett has been charged with FTA, and

Walter Holloway, 57, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 1100 block of South Gilmer Avenue, criminal trespassing, second degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, were reported on the 600 block of South 2nd Avenue, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 800 block of North 10th Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1300 block of South 8th Court, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 1800 block of North 4th Street, assault, third degree, was reported on the 200 block of South 8th Street, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, second degree, were reported on the 4200 block of 32nd Street SW, identity theft was reported on the 1100 block of South Gilmer Avenue, assault, second degree, was reported on the 800 block of South 2nd Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1800 block of 18th Street SW, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 4800 block of Phillips Road, the unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported on the 1200 block of 15th Place SW and domestic violence, third degree, and domestic violence, second degree, were reported on the 700 block of North 14th Court.

Sheriff’s office reports

LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Brian Veasley, 31, of Valley has been charged with FTA – speeding and FTA – driving with a revoked license;

James Carpenter, 34, of Auburn, Ala. has been charged with failure to pay – interference with child custody, and

Jarez Carlisle, 20, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – no driver’s license, FTA – switched tag and FTA – operating a vehicle without insurance.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Santavious Jacurviontray Vaughn of Lanett has been charged with a probation violation.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, a theft was reported on East 13th Street, shoplifting was reported on East 10th Street, entering an auto was reported on Avenue B, simple battery was reported on East 12th Street, criminal trespassing was reported on Forest Mill Lane, theft of a vehicle was reported on Higgins Street, fraud was reported on West 3rd Avenue and criminal trespassing was reported on East 12th Street.

Lafayette reports

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in LaFayette over the weekend.

According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

Brandon Carwell, 27, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with failure to appear or pay.

In incidents being investigated by LaFayette officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on 1st Street NE, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on Alabama Avenue West, possession of a forged instrument was reported on LaFayette Street North, harassment was reported at the Hilltop Apartments, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on Avenue A Southeast.
