Lanett reports
LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Tuesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Mary Ellen Avery, 49, of LaFayette has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Tony Derail Wheatley, 49, of Lanett has been charged with harassment;
Melisa Blalock Daniel, 55, of Columbus, Ga. has been charged with driving under the influence – alcohol, and
Brittany Hope Booker, 28, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer traffic-related charges.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 2000 block of 24th Street SW, theft of property, second degree, and burglary, third degree, were reported on the 5400 block of 22nd Street SW, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1700 block of 23rd Street SW and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 700 block of South 13th Street.
Sheriff’s office reports
LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Tuesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Craig Gregory Jr., 30, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with failure to pay child support and
Cedric Winston, 51, of Lanett has been charged with failure to pay child support.
There were 147 inmates in the Chambers County jail Wednesday morning.
Valley reports
VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Tuesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Candace Iman Gross, 35, of Valley has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft by deception, third degree, was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue and duty to give information and render aid was reported on the 600 block of Fob James Drive,
LaFayette reports
LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in LaFayette on Tuesday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,
Joshua Omar Henderson, 36, has been charged with the theft of a motor vehicle, and
Javontae Holloway, 26, has been charged with disorderly conduct.
