LaFAYETTE — Mr. Bobby Joe Woody, 61. 0f LaFayette, Ala. passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at LaFayette Extended Care in LaFayette.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, 1 p.m. CST at Chosen Generation Worship Center Intl in LaFayette, with Apostle Willie Eva Hicks, pastor, and Overseer Calvin Daniel, eulogist, presiding. Burial will follow in Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette.

Mr. Woody is survived by his children, Kendra Collins of Atlanta, Ga., Sallie Marie Grey and Dewayne Daniel, both of Decatur, Ga.; three sisters, Sharon Story, Brenda Moore and Cynthia (Oliver) Barker, all of LaFayette; six brothers, J.C. (Mattie) Woody, Freddy Woody (Phyllis), Lemar Woody (Minnie), Larry Woody, Tommy Woody (Bettie) and Terry Woody, all of LaFayette;  four grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
