OPELIKA, Ala. — Mr. Clark Jones, 67, of Opelika, Ala. and formerly of LaFayette, Ala., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, 1 CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette with the Rev. John Clark officiating. Burial followed in the Concord Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Salem, Ala.

 Mr. Jones is survived by a daughter, Kristie (Kelvin) Jones of Wadley, Ala.; a son, John (Marie) Clark of LaGrange, Ga.; brothers and sisters Mary Helen Jones of Phenix City, Ala., Nancy Matties of Miami, Fla., Robert Lee Jones of Phenix City, Ala., Marion (Shelia) Jones of Crawford, Ala., Joanne McCoy and Jessie Willis Jones, both of Detroit, Mich., an aunt, Veola Jones of Salem, Ala., a special nephew, Alvin (Valeria) Morgan of Opelika, Ala., four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
