DAYTON, Ohio — Leonard “Bo” Haynes Jr., 74, of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Oakland, Ala. departed this life on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018. He was well known in the waterworks and West Point community.

Our affectionate Bo loved his family, fishing and cookouts. He leaves his precious memories to six children: Derrick Haynes Malone,Dayton, OH; Wendy Miller, Atlanta, GA; Theresa Haynes-Horton, South Carolina; Leonard Haynes lll, Atlanta, GA; Evan Haynes, Cincinnati, OH; Noelle Haynes, Dayton, OH; one brother, John A. Haynes, LaFayette, Ala.; one brother-in-law, Alvin Ross, West Point, Ga.; one sister-in-law, Bessie Haynes, LaFayette; an array of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Haynes Sr. and Sarah Tucker Haynes; two brothers, Willie Lewis Haynes and Robert Laster Haynes; three sisters, Lemerle Haynes, Betty J. Ross and Maye Bray.

We will forever cherish our dear loved one and keep an expression he made that is certainly near and dear to our hearts. “God loves you, so do I and there is nothing you can do about it.”
