Lanett Reports
LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Beverly Jackson, 50, of Valley has been charged with being a fugitive from justice;
Danny Thrift, 33, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and
Bubba Arrington, 40, of Lanett has been charged with disorderly conduct.
Lanett officers are investigating reports of harassment on the 1600 block of 21st Street SW, criminal mischief on the 1200 block of North 12th Street, criminal trespassing on the 800 block of South 11th Street, harassing communications on the 2100 block of 58th Avenue SW and theft of property, first degree, and criminal mischief on the 400 block of East 22nd Street.
West Point Reports
WEST POINT — West Point Police Department officers are investigating several incidents that were reported on Monday. They include criminal trespassing on West 3rd Avenue, theft by taking on Dogwood Circle and theft by taking on O.G. Skinner Drive.
Sheriff’s Reports
LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Department reports,
Alexis Wilson, 35, of Lanett has been charged with carrying a pistol without a permit;
Danny Thrift, 33, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of not making child support payments, and
Larome Meadows, 44, of LaFayette has been charged with possession with intent to distribute.
There were 150 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Tuesday morning.
