A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019, at 3 p.m. EST at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with Ministers Melisa Saccucci, Chuck Anderson and Loren Sutton officiating. The visitation will be Tuesday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. EST prior to the service.

Mrs. Hutchins is survived by her husband, Luther J Hutchins, Jr.; children Jeff (Tina) Hutchins and Sue (Bo) Sessums; grandchildren Robin (Billy) Croft, April Hutchins, Josh (Brittney) Hutchins, Adam (Sarah) Parrish, Nikki (Brandon) Roell, and Jordan Sessums; great-grandchildren Ashley Michael, Hunter Coft, Ronnee Croft, Maggie Jo Rennie, McKenzie Roell, Grady Parrish, and Landon and Jackson Hutchins (due May 2019), and great-great-grandchild Addisyn Michael.

She was born in Chambers County on August 1, 1939.  She was raised in the Church of God in Anderson and currently attended Fairfax United Methodist Church in Valley.  Her 62-year marriage with her husband, Luther Hutchins, was a real life love story which set an example for her family. She was strong in her faith and was an encouragement to her family and was always faithful. She had the most kind soul we‛ve ever met. She was the family matriarch; the glue which held the family together — she never gave up on any of us. Always loving and kind, she loved her God, family, church, and friends. Her love for her husband was as beautiful as any you will ever see. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Words cannot describe how much she was loved nor how much she will be missed by family and friends.
