Lanett reports

LANETT — Five people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Jonathan Golden Jr., 18, of Lanett has been charged with harassment;

Kendonsky Pruitt, 32, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree, and attempting to elude a police officer;

Timothy Carpenter, 31, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree’

Xandon Taylor, 25, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Gregory Thompson, 32, of Lanett has been charged with DUI.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, cruelty to a dog, first degree, was reported on the 2000 block of 23rd Street SW, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 800 block of South 13th Street, domestic violence, third degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 2300 block of South Broad Avenue and criminal trespassing, third degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1800 block of 32nd Drive SW.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — Two people were arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Thaddius Booker, 24, of West Point has been charged with obstructing or hindering a law enforcement officer, and

Niasya Murphy, 19, of West Point has been charged with reckless driving.

Valley reports

VALLEY — in incidents being investigated by Valley Police Department officers, the unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle was reported on the 200 block of Sydney Street, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 100 block of GI Street and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 2000 block of 40th Street.
