VALLEY — Mr. James Michael “Mike” Hill, 65, a resident of Valley, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the EAMC-Lanier Nursing Home in Valley.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 11 a.m. EDT from Johnson Brown-­Service Funeral Home in Valley with Rev. Tim Bass officiating. Interment will be in Fairfax Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.

Mr. Hill is survived by two sons, Corey Hill (Mollie) and Colby Hill; his father, Grover Hill, and step­granddaughter, Annabeth Grimes.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Celia Rodgers Hill.

Mr. Hill was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on April 2, 1953 and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Baptist Church.
