LANETT — Mr. John Mark Rodgers, 68, of Lanett passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at his home in Fredonia. Mark was born on March 19, 1950 in Langdale to the late Bernard and Alice Watkins Rodgers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Bernard Rodgers, and his brother, Charles Rodgers. He is survived by his brothers, Phillip Rodgers of West Point and David Rodgers of San Antonio, Texas; his son, Stephen Culpepper of Atlanta and grandson Dylan Culpepper, also of Atlanta.

Mark, as he is known to family and friends, was an enthusiastic musician and songwriter.

A memorial celebration will be held at a later date and will be announced in the near future.
