LaFAYETTE — Mr. Mike Howard, 54, of LaFayette, died Saturday March 2, 2019 at his residence.

Mike was born in Lee County on May 22, 1964 to the late Milford Kenneth Howard and the late Eleanor Jeanne Barnhart Howard. He had two degrees from Auburn University, was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Auburn. He was employed with Chart as well as Auburn University in food service management.

Mass will be celebrated Tuesday March 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. CDT at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Gil Pierre officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Howard of LaFayette; two daughters, Charlene (Tim) Duvall of Mobile and Alicha (Michael) Barnes of LaFayette; two brothers, Steve Howard of Arkansas and Richard Howard of Denver, Colorado.; grandchildren  Kaylin Barnes, Sadie Duvall and Braxton Duvall.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Karen Wingo, and a brother, Christopher Howard.
