PENTON — Mrs. Becky Brown, 69, of Penton died Thursday March 21, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Chambers County on March 12, 1950 to the late Joe Harmon and the late Beatrice Cochran Harmon. Mrs. Brown was an active member of the Penton Church Of God and had retired from McClendon Trucking Company. She had 25 years of service and had been the payroll clerk

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 3 p.m. CDT at the Penton Church Of God with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mike Campbell and the Rev. Paul Howard will officiate.

Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m., prior to the service.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Joe Brown of Penton; two daughters, Allison (Charles) Burton of LaFayette, Ala. and Leslie Freeman of Penton; two sisters, Betty Whaley of LaFayette and Glenda Harmon of Penton; her brother, Harold (Evelyn) Harmon of LaFayette; a brother in law, (Melanie) Brown of  LaFayette; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
