Mrs. Juanita “Nita” R. olko

LANETT — Mrs. Juanita “Nita” R. Olko, 72, of Lanett passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Olko was born on Dec. 27, 1946 in Langdale, Ala. to the late Marvin Royster and Mary Roberts Royster.

She was a member of the Plant City Baptist Church.

Mrs. Olko loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and loved spending time with her family.  She had a special love for the holiday season of Christmas and you could always find her home decorated both inside and outside.  She was an avid cook and really enjoyed cooking for her entire family during the Christmas season.

She is survived by her husband, Edward R. Olko, Sr.; children Edward R. (Laurie) Olko, Kenny (Angie) Olko, and Mark (Katina) Olko; her sister, Linda (Roger) Nelson; seven grandchildren and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 3 p.m. EST at the Johnson Brown-­Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment in Johnson Memorial Gardens.  The Rev. Brad Reed will officiate. Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. EST.
