LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Jasmine Ashulon Finley, 30, of Valley has been charged with harassing communications, and

Toreus Jamal Whitlow, 24, has been charged with DUI.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, the unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South 8th Street, menacing was reported on the 200 block of South 8th Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue and separate incidents of harassment was reported on the 600 block of North 14th Court, the 1800 block of South Broad Avenue and the 2200 block of South Broad Avenue.

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Monday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Anthony Howard Shellnutt, 36, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Nathan Brett Foster, 27, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 3200 block of County Road 388, theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue, attempted theft, first degree, and attempting to elude a police officer was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Kcedro Avery, 24, of Valley has been charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree.

There were 149 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Tuesday morning.
