Lanett reports

LANETT — Nine people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Javonta Trammell Williams, 25, of Lanett has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and being a fugitive from justice;

Scotty Reed, 43, of Lanett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia;

Cordeia Jaquez Williams, 30, of LaFayette has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Randie Chappell, 40, of Montgomery , Ala. has been charged with obstructing a government operation and resisting arrest;

Anthony Blake Davis, 38, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Catherine Latika Madden, 21, of Lanett has been charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, obstructing a government operation and resisting arrest;

Tatyana Artenikoquenta St. George, 25, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Luis Andres Morales, 43, of Lanett has been charged with harassment, and

James Lashon Whitlow, 45, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1600 block of 19th Street SW, the 1800 block of South Broad Avenue, the 1400 block of South 14th Street, the 600 block of North 8th Avenue, the 1500 block of 61st Court SW and the 5400 block of 16th Street SW, criminal mischief, second degree, was reported on the 700 block of South 13th Street, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 500 block of South 15th Avenue, theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 2000 block of South Broad Avenue, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on County Road 212, the unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported on the 100 block of North Gilmer Avenue, the unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 4500 block of 32nd Street SW, identity theft was reported on the 1800 block of 18th Street SW and harassing communications reported on the 400 block of South 1st Avenue.

Sheriff’s reports

LaFAYETTE — Five people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Keonte Stringer, 24, of Valley has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree;

Dylan Beck, 26, of Five Points has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of possession of a controlled substance and failure to pay on a charge of theft of property, third degree;

Matthew Thompson, 28, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with two counts of domestic violence, third degree;

Delveron Bledsoe, 42, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay child support and FTA – speeding, driving with a suspended license and no insurance, and

Courtney Davis, 29, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – theft of property, first degree.

There were 163 inmates in the Chambers County jail Monday morning.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Ashley Nicole Schmidt, 24, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree – harassment and

Marvin Garcia, 39, of Lanett has been charged with DUI.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 200 block of 1st Street, criminal mischief, second degree, was reported on the 2900 block of 19th Place, terroristic threats was reported on the 2500 block of 12th Avenue, the fraudulent use of a debit/credit card was reported on the 1100 block of Plantation Road and harassing communications reported on the 700 block of Sedgefield Road.

West point reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Richard Lambert Mitchell, 57, of West Point has been charged with driving with a revoked license.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, battery, theft by taking and cruelty to children was reported on East 14th Street, robbery was reported on Davidson Street, simple assault and criminal trespassing was reported on East 12th Street, battery reported on West 3rd Avenue, theft by shoplifting reported on East 10th Street, simple assault reported on East 10th Street, and criminal trespassing reported on East 14th Street.
