VALLEY — Donald Harrison Hinson went home to be with his late parents, Shellie and Clara Hinson, daughter Susan Knight and son David Hinson.

Mr. Hinson was born on Oct. 23, 1935, in Hartford. He always had a big garden in his backyard, liked to go fishing and always welcomed company to sit and talk. He loved to go to church and was always sitting outside, enjoying the sun. He was a retired insurance salesman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Eloise Hinson; his siblings, Shermon (Margo) Hinson, Wayne Hinson and Debbie (Steve) Blanton; his son, Allen (Renay) Hinson; grandchildren Josh (Marci) Long, Cody (Madelyn) Hinson, Dixie (Brandon) Hadaway, Randall (Erin) Hinson, and Stephen (Alyssa) Mathis; six great­ grandchildren and two on the way.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019m at 2 p.m. EDT at Davidson Baptist Church (2921 GA Hwy 18, West Point, GA 31833).

Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service.
