CUSSETA  —  Mr. Michael L. Scanlan, 30, of Cusseta, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Funeral services will be held during the noon hour EDT on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at the Chosen Generation Worship Center, LaFayette with Apostle Willie Eva Hicks, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Valley.

Mrs. Scanlan is survived by his wife, Sandra Scanlan of Cusseta; his father, Leon Newton Scanlan; his sister, Cherish Scanlan of Auburn; two brothers, Chauncey (Sarita) Scanlan and Stephen Scanlan, both of Florida; his grandmother, Phyllis Lambert of Miami; father-in-law, Robert Lee Holloway and mother-in-law, Mattie Mae Holloway, both of Lanett; five brothers-in-law: Robert (Jennifer) Holloway of Lanett, Gary (Darlene) Holloway of LaFayette, Glover (Lavita) Holloway of San Pedro, California, Steven (Lynda) Allison of LaFayette and Bernard (Debra) Phillips of Lanett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
