LaFAYETTE — Six people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Timothy L. Parker, 39, of Roanoke, has been charged with failure to pay – driving with a suspended license;

Ashley N. Morris, 24, of Cusseta, has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a DUI charge;

Teresa D. Heard, 54, of Fairburn, Georgia, has been charged with trafficking marijuana and attempting to elude law enforcement;

Tony G. Johnson, 59, of Grand Bay, has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, second degree, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia;

Aaron C. Schweiger, 32, of Bay Minette, has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, second degree, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia; and

Rocquell Q. Payne of Opelika has been charged with FTA – operating a vehicle without insurance.

There were 164 inmates in the Chambers County Jail on Friday morning.

VALLEY — One person was arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Lisa Beddington, 34, of Valley, has been charged with bail jumping.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 4000 block of 20th Avenue, the unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 1300 block of Ben Brown Road, and property damage was reported on the 1700 block of 58th Street.

LANETT – Lanett police officers are investigated incidents of theft of property, second degree, reported on the 800 block of South 8th Street and criminal mischief, third degree, reported on the 200 block of South 11th Street.

west point reports

WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating reports of theft by shoplifting on East 10th Street, damage to property on East 8th Street and entering an automobile on Floyd Street.
