Police Reports Ending May 13

Lanett reports

LANETT — Five people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend, according to Lanett Police Department.

Albino Cruz of Lanett, has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a traffic-related charge;

Derrion Brock of Lanett, has been charged with possession of a concealed weapon without a permit;

Eric Stafford of West Point, has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;

Norris Walker of Lanett, has been charged with driving under the influence, and

Antonio Woodson of Lanett, has been charged with disorderly conduct.

In a weekend incident being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal mischief was reported on the 1000 block of South 1st Avenue.

Valley reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley over the weekend, according to Valley Police Department. Charles J. Schroeder, 25, of Valley, has been charged with harassing communications and domestic violence, third-degree — harassment, and

Lesa Ann Leckwold, 53, of Valley, has been charged with criminal trespassing, first degree.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers,  theft of property, fourth degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 200 block of Jarrett Street, theft of property, first degree (motor vehicle) was reported on the 200 block of Middle Street, public lewdness was reported on the 2300 block of Calgary Crescent Terrance, domestic violence, third degree – criminal mischief and harassment was reported on the 2000 block of 40th Street, criminal mischief, second degree, was reported on the 3000 block of 19th Avenue, harassment and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1100 block of County Road 502, burglary, second degree, was reported on the 2100 block of 44th Street, theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 2400 block of Hopewell Road, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 200 block of MLK Drive and burglary, third degree, and theft of property, second degree, was reported on the 100 block of Church Street.

Sheriff’s reports

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in Chambers County over the weekend, according to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office.

Eric Stafford, 39, of West Point, has been charged with failure to pay – giving false information to a law enforcement officer.

There were 149 inmates in the Chambers County Jail on Monday morning.

LaFayette reports

LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in LaFayette over the weekend, according to LaFayette Police Department.

Scottie Hill, 51, of LaFayette, has been charged with failure to pay.

In weekend incidents that were reported to the LaFayette Police Department, a hit-and-run accident ws reported on Highway 431, menacing was reported on 2nd Avenue SW, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on Pinecrest Drive, harassment was reported on 2nd Avenue SW and domestic violence, second degree, and interference with a domestic violence emergency call reported on 4th Place NE.

West Point Report

WEST POINT — Two people were arrested in West Point over the weekend, according to West Point Police Department.

Wendy Kyles of Opelika, has been charged with running a stop sign and DUI and

Courtney Harris of Lanett, has been charged with simple assault.
