LANETT — Michael Henson, 71, of Lanett, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 5, 2019.     

Mike is survived by his wife, Tawana; his daughter, Melanie; his sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and J.C.; his two grandchildren, Conner and Carly; his one niece, Jaime.

Mike was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee and had retired from Jimmie Hale Royal Pines Mission, where he served as counselor for many years.

Mike’s passion was helping people overcome their addictions.  In the process, he led so many to Jesus Christ. He will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends and celebrate Mike’s life Wednesday, May 8, 2019, from 5 until 8 p.m. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Lanett.
