LaFAYETTE — Mrs. Lelia Mae Trammell, 67, of LaFayette, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019, at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019, 1 p.m. at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke (Welch community), with the Rev. Calvin Trammell, pastor, and Dr. Harvey Jones, eulogist, presiding. Burial will follow in Rehope Baptist Church Cemetery in Five Points.

Mrs. Trammell is survived by her husband, William Trammell Jr.; her daughter, Miranda (Sam) McFarlin of LaGrange, Ga.; her son, Willie (Veronica) Reed of Roanoke; five sisters, Rosa Mae (Pierce) Smith of Welch; Cynthia Weaver and Wanda J. Allen, both of LaGrange; Betty Marie (Mike) Haynes and Shirley (James) Haynes, both of LaFayette; four brothers, Willie Rufus Haynes of Roanoke; Michael Haynes of LaFayette, Richard Haynes of Opelika, and Bennie Haynes Jr. of Five Points; five grandchildren, six great­ grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
