Sheriff’s Reports

LaFAYETTE — Eight people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Rodreckus D. Jackson, 28, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of speeding;

Jeremy S. Daigle, 27, of Mobile has been charged with giving a false name to a law enforcement officer;

Frederick P. Jones, 27, of Locust Grove, Ga. has been charged with attempting to elude and possession of marijuana, second degree;

Ramon A. Santiago, 19, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with being a fugitive from justice;

Christopher B. Floyd, 27, of Roanoke has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree;

Romell L. Willis, 39, of Lanett has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree;

Tearia C. Holloway, 30, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – speeding;

Joseph A. Griffin, 28, of Lanett has been charged with not making child support payments, and

Earl Asberry, 59, of LaFayette has been charged with not making child support payments.

There were 160 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Monday morning.

 

Lanett Reports

LANETT — Eight people were arrested in Lanett over the weekend. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Tommie Irene Frazier, 49, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Romell Lamar Willis, 39, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Anthony Bailey, 51, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic;

Rachel Leigh Hall, 24, of Lanett has been charged with a parole violation;

Rodrekcus Deonta Jackson, 28, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and firearms license required;

Candace Latrease Brock, 31, of Lanett was charged with theft of property, fourth degree;

Dana Denise Hartzell, 25, of Five Points has been charged with FTA – traffic, and

Makeldrick Sadarius Barnes, 28, of Valley has been charged with disorderly conduct and DUI – alcohol.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, harassment was reported on the 400 block of South 1st Avenue, criminal trespassing, first degree, was reported on the 600 block of South 3rd Street, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1500 block of 17th Avenue SW, criminal trespassing, third degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 500 block of North 5th Street and domestic violence, third degree, and criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1300 block of North 12th Street.

Valley Reports

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley over the weekend. According to Valley Police Department reports,

Daryl Whaley, 34, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree, and

Timothy Osborne, 34, of Five Points has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 1800 block of 51st Street, burglary, third degree, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2200 block of Highway 29, theft of property, third degree, was reported on the 5200 block of 17th Avenue, harassing communications was reported on the 1800 block of 42nd Street and harassment was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — Two people were arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Jamal Thornton of Alexander City, Ala. has been charged with possession of marijuana and obstructing law enforcement, and

Marcus Williams of West Point has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, tampering with evidence and obstructing law enforcement.

In an incident being investigated by West Point officers, a hit-and-run was reported on Davidson Street.
