Sheriff’s reports

LaFAYETTE — Six people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Kenneth Wayne Elliott, 52, of Lanett, has been charged with two counts of failure to make child support payments and failure to pay — domestic violence, third degree — menacing;

Todricas Deontae Askew, 37, of Lanett, has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree;

Amanda Frances Lowery, 45, of Notasulga, has been charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia;

Amanda Robin Rhein, 38, of Valley, has been charged with FTA — possession of a controlled substance;

Demarius Dantez Lynch, 37, of Montgomery, has been charged with a probation violation – possession of marijuana, first degree, and

Salasky Griftez Gates, 28, of Valley, has been charged with DUI — alcohol.

There were 157 inmates in the Chambers County Jail on Tuesday morning.

Lanett reports

LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Angela Foster Smith, 58, of Valley, has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia;

Kenneth Wayne Elliott, 52, of Lanett, has been charged with three counts of bail jumping, second degree, and

Danmarkius Lemarquise Williams, 22, of Valley, has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, second degree, and

In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 900 block of North 12th Street, domestic violence, third degree – assault, was reported on the 5400 block of 16th Street SW, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 1100 block of First Street and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2500 block of 28th Avenue SW.

West Point reports

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Monday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Ashley Brooks, 25, of West Point, has been charged with theft by taking and larceny.

In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, burglary was reported on Forest Mill Lane and criminal trespassing reported on Spruce Street.

LaFayette reports

LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in LaFayette over the weekend. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,

Timothy M. Osborne, 34, has been charged with failure to pay, and

Earl Asberry, 59, was charged with failure to pay.

In incidents being investigated by LaFayette officers, damaged property was reported on B Street SW, domestic violence, second degree, was reported on 1st Avenue NW, vehicle damage was reported on 2nd Place NE., harassing communications was reported on 9th Avenue SW and domestic violence, third degree, and discharging a firearm was reported on Hilltop Street.
