Mrs. Ethel Mae (Lyons) Respress, 70, of Valley, died on June 8 in Valley.

Respress was a member of Zion Rest Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on June 15 at Mt. Nebo in Cusseta at noon EDT, Fredrick Stanley doing the eulogy and Arthur Thomas officiating. Respress will be laid to rest at Zion Rest Cemetary.

She is survived by her four sisters, Chaine Ester Shoals, of Birmingham, Eunice Westbrooks, of Atlanta, Ethel Faye Lyons, of Atlanta and Linda Cochran, of Atlanta; two brothers, Freddie Jackson, of Detroit and Tommy (Cynthia) Lyons of Valley; godbrothers and sisters, Willie Roger (Shirley) Lyons, Randolph Lyons, Billy Lyons, Carolyn Shealey, Annette (Henry) Brooks, Patricia Copeland, Lena Mae Carter and Louise Ford; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Foreman Funeral Home in Valley will direct.
