My name is Debbie Gray. I live on Lake Harding and work in Columbus as a RN Director of a Home Health Agency.

On June 12, I became very ill and was transferred from another hospital to EAMC-Lanier for surgery. I had a colon obstruction and needed surgery quickly. Dr. Phil Tranqui was the surgeon who accepted my case.

The care that he gave me was absolutely outstanding. His bedside manner and knowledge saved my life.

While at Lanier, I had the best care one could receive from all the nurses and techs. I was very impressed with their caring attitude, skill and competency. They all met my needs and encouraged me on an hourly basis. This is just a few of those wonderful caring people who worked in ICU: Lisa, Marie, Shane, Luke, Emily and Beth.

You can’t find better care from a surgeon, hospital and staff from anywhere else. There is no need to go outside of the Valley area for your healthcare needs when we have the best right in our community.
