Veolia North America has received a five-year contract extension to continue providing water treatment services to the communities of Lanett, Huguley and the East Alabama Water District.

The company has been operating and maintaining the water treatment plant in Lanett, which has a permit capacity of seven million gallons per day, since 1994. Its current contract with the district lasts until 2020, at which time the contract will be extended to 2025.
