Mrs. Minnie Bee Camp, 94, of Huguley, passed away on Aug. 29 at the EAMC Lanier Nursing Home in Valley. She was born on Dec. 22, 1924, in Randolph County, to the late Roscoe and Melinda Akins.

Mrs. Camp is survived by her three children, Sara (Danny) Rodriguez, Larry Camp and Jerry (Sandra) Camp; her nine grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Roscoe Akins, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Camp; her grandson, Tim Taunton; her parents; six of her siblings.

Mrs. Camp enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her family.  

Funeral services will be held on Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. EDT until the service hour at the funeral home.
