Ms. Pinkie L. Eason, 74, of Dadeville, passed away on July 31 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral Services will be held on Aug. 5 at 11 a.m. CDT at Baskin Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Dadeville, the Rev. Leon Henderson, Pastor; the Rev. Mark Rogers, Officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery in Waverly.

Eason is survived by three children, Michael Eason, of Camp Hill, Thurman (Shanna) Johnson and Tyrone (Tonya) Johnson, both of Dadeville; two sisters, Gertrude (Cecil) Canada, of Dadeville, and Bernadette (Ray) Holloway; two brothers, Roland Eason and Royzell Eason, both of Dadeville; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
