Bud never met a stranger. He treated everyone like family and made sure they felt welcome and loved. He was a deacon at Happy Valley Baptist Church and cared very deeply for his church family. He was a veteran and proudly served his country in the Korean War. For 36 years, he was a long haul trucker for West Point Stevens.
Bud’s world revolved around his family. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. He delighted in watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play and laugh. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. EDT at Happy Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. John Samanie and the Rev. Floyd Akins officiating.
