Troup County’s Keep Troup Beautiful will host a litter pickup event on Saturday.

According to a news release sent from the county, everyone is invited to participate in the clean-up event.

Areas of Hammet Road and Tin Bridge will be the covered areas of the clean-up.

Starting at 8:30 a.m. and finishing at about 10:30 a.m., volunteers are asked to meet at Callaway Elementary School, located at 2200 Hammett Road in LaGrange.

Anyone who wishes to participate is welcome to park in the school parking lot.

Locals who wish to participate will be provided with supply trash bags, safety vests and gloves from Keep Troup Beautiful.
