There is an early game night this week due to potential weather concerns on Friday evening.

Two of six games in the Greater Valley Area will be played on Thursday night, headlined by 1A No. 3-ranked Lanett (8-0, 5-0) hosting Billingsley (5-3, 4-1) for the 1A Region 4 championship.

The Panthers have defeated their last two opponents by a combined score of 82-0. Billingsley is coming off of a 37-14 loss to Notasulga (5-3, 4-1), a program that can find itself in a three-way tie for the region title with a Lanett loss and a win against Wadley (4-3, 3-2) this week. Last season against Billingsley, Lanett shut the Bears out 42-0.
