Mr. James Bishop Pursley, of Warm Springs, passed away on Oct. 19 at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. 

Mr. Pursley was born on March 28, 1961, in LaGrange to the late Albert Pursley and Elsie Powell Wright. He was a member of ThreeLife Church and worked at BID as a Supervisor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane; his son, Jeremy; and his grandson, Fisher.

Survivors include his wife, Wendy Dawn Adams Pursley; children, Kerry Cothran (Chris), Ariel Hensley (Sagel) Elicia Gordy, Jesi Klebs (Kevin) and Brandi Pugh (Ed); grandchildren, Ridge, Sydni, Katelyn, Tucker, Levi, Tyler, Graci, Dallis, Layla, Hunter, Stella, Kimber, Keyleigh, Mila and grandbaby No. 16 due in April of 2020; siblings, Bill Pursley, Brenda Harden, Kathryn Knight, Shelby Jean Null, Erica Harden, Joyce Fincher and Christine Overholser; numerous nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. at the ThreeLife Church. Mr. Pursley was an avid University of Georgia Bulldog fan.
