Mr. LiQuori Brown, of Phoenix, Arizona, and former resident of Valley, died on Sept. 30 at Banner Estrella Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona. 

Funeral services in Alabama are scheduled for Oct. 12 at noon from Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Willie G. Wimberly officiating. Davis Memorial Mortuary directing. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona. LiQuori was a graduate of the Valley High School, Class of 1993. He worked as a Correctional Officer with the Chambers County Detention Center in LaFayette and also with the Troup County Detention Center in LaGrange. In 2005, he relocated to Phoenix. He was a member of First Institutional Baptist Church in Phoenix. 

His survivors include his loving mother, Julia Ann Brown, of Lanett; his father, Rozell (Mary) Floyd, of Valley; four sisters, Sheronica Bailey, Ashley Brown, Tolandra Harris and Shonkedra (Bradley) Wright, all of Valley; three brothers, Russell Brown, of Phoenix, Arizona, Eugene Sanders, Jr., of Atlanta, and Terry Bailey, of Valley; a special aunt, Peggy Wilson, of Phoenix, Arizona; three aunts, Shirley Alexander, of Valley, Joann Roberson and Lizzie Thomas Robinson, both of Salem; five uncles, Charles Brown, of Phoenix, Arizona, Sylvester “Sonny” Brown, of Valley’s “Beulah Community,” Carl (Barbara) Core, Roy (LaShanda) Floyd, of Valley, and George (Shirley) Floyd, of Salem; one niece; nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
