Mrs. Anita Huguley, the daughter of the late James and Estelle Davidson Gilliam, was born Aug. 31, 1925, in Troup County. She departed this life on Sept. 30 at EAMC-Lanier in Valley.

“Neat,” as she was known, was employed for over 50 years by Frank and Ann Wilkinson. In her later years, she was a home-maker. She enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles and gardening.

Anita was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1978. She loved Jehovah and loved reading the Bible. Her children, grandchildren and two great-grandsons were her pride and joy. Nurturing and mothering them brought her great “joy.”
