Mrs. Charlene Brady Hopkins, 78, of Valley, passed away on Oct. 28 at the Lanier Nursing Home in Valley. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. EDT on Friday from the Shawmut Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tim Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Huguley. Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.  

Mrs. Hopkins was born in West Point on April 21, 1941. She retired from West Point Stevens Fairfax Mill and was a member of the Shawmut Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dennis Hopkins; cousins, Don (Patsy) Bennett, Rita Mullennix and Phillip Burke. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Brady; and her brother, Walter “Ronnie” Brady.
