Mr. Eugene Pearson, 83, of Dadeville, passed away on Oct. 27 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Funeral services were held on Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. CDT at Sardis Baptist Church in Dadeville, the Rev. William Perry, Pastor/Officiating; the Rev. Dale Traylor, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson’s Gap.

Mr. Pearson is survived by seven children, Mary Reese, of Dadeville, Angela Pearson, of Dadeville, Pamela Pearson, of Jackson’s Gap, Michael Pearson (Carmmillia), of Dadeville, Darrell Pearson, of Detroit, Cassandra Pearson (Rodney), of Dadeville, and Alice Pearson, of Dadeville; three sisters-in-law, Jonell Pogue, Ida Lee Henry and Virginia Pearson; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
