Mr. Melvin Tucker 63, of West Point, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, at WellStar-Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, 2 p.m. EST at St. John Baptist Church (Cherry Drive) in Lanett. The Rev. Charles E. Trammell will be the pastor and officiant. Burial will follow in Marseilles Cemetery in West Point.

Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Patricia Tucker of West Point; children, Kelvin(Felicia)Tucker of Valley, Kimetric Vin Boykins and Conswella Harvey, both of Atlanta, and Ebony Tucker of West Point; brothers Reginald Johnson, William Johnson, Julius Johnson, and Vance Johnson, all of West Point, Scotty Davidson of LaGrange, and Dewayne Hill of Atlanta; two sisters, Jeralyn Johnson and Melva Roberts, both of West Point; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
