William Harold Bonner, 73, of Valley, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Bonner was born on Feb. 14, 1946, in West Point, Georgia to the late Robert P. Bonner and Louise Holladay Bonner.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Bonner; siblings, Dorothy Windsor and Floyd Bonner. He was a member of West End Baptist Church.

Mr. Bonner was a United States Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam Wartime. He worked and retired from West Point Pepperell after 38 years of service and then went on to work for Glynn Smith Chevrolet for 15 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, singing, and was a skilled billiards player.

He is survived by his spouse, Ann Bonner; children, Lisa Hamer, Patricia Striblin, Wade Robertson, and Amanda (Randy) Foster; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, at 2 p.m. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with military honors following in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett. The Rev. Don Downs will be officiating. His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m. EST.
