Ms. Elizabeth Diane Weldon, 65, a resident of Huguley, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, at the Capitol Hill Healthcare in Montgomery. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, from Johnson Memorial Gardens in Valley with Rev. Stephen Grubbs officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Survivors include her brother, Tommy Weldon (Sharon); five nieces and nephews, Robert Cox (Sheree), Stacey McClure (Randy), Matthew Weldon (Lindsay), Daniel Weldon, Katie Hurst (Matt); and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Faye Nell Kelley Weldon, and two sisters, Charlotte Cox and Rebecca Strickland.

Ms. Weldon was born in Chambers County, on Nov. 23, 1954, and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved her family as well as her church family and her pets.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church in Lanett.
