Jay Lynn Harris, 56, of Valley, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020.

Jay was born in Alexander City on Aug. 3, 1963, to the late J.C. and Linda Martin Harris.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents — Mr. and Mrs. Lacy Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Martin.

He is survived by his sisters Julie (Joey) Ambrose, Jeanna (Mike) Green; nephews Elliott Ambrose, Jeffery (Ashley) Harper, Liam Ryder Harper; and nieces Caroline(Brent) Ray.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at 2:30 pm EST. at Bluffton Funeral Services in Lanett. The family will greet friends for Visitation from directly following the service until 5 pm EST also at Bluffton Funeral Services.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Chattahoochee Valley Hospice.
